"L Ape e L Orso"(The Bee and The Bear) is an organic farm founded in 1978, and is located in the Villetta Barrea country of Abruzzo, within the National Park of Abruzzo. Its "herd" of hives, numbering over 1,000, is among the largest in Abruzzo, and allows them to offer a wide scope of honeys from the region.
This Eucalyptus honey is golden to light amber in color, with a tendency to stay liquid, and has a flavor similar to that of toffee, with notes of raisin.
