Verbasco is a honey derived from bees which feed on the Verbasco (Verbascum thapsus L.) plant; commonly known as Great Mullein. It is a yellow-flowering biennial native to Europe, where it was historically used as an herbal remedy due to its emollient and astringent properties; Dioscorides noting such over 2000 years ago. It is a hardy field plant, often found in pastures, and can reach heights of over 7 feet; making its use in building torches popular. Also believed to ward off witches (just in case).
