Elettra Rinaldi, companion of Nunzio Marcelli, operates the Bioagriturismo farm La Porta dei Parchi, in Anversa degli Abruzzo.
While working for the Italian government and stationed in Kabul Afghanistan, she was instrumental in establishing "Enduring Cheese". This initiative, which brought Italian shepherds and cheese makers to this war torn area, helped to successfully train Afghan shepherds in the traditional methods of cheese making.
Today, Elettra with young son Tomas, manages the operational functions of the farm and is helping to promote the farm and village through social networking on the web.
